deisel fumes and cancer in railraod work

Diesel fumes
exposure is proven to
cause cancer.

Railroad workers and cancer.

Exposure to asbestos and diesel fumes have been associated with: Mesothelioma Asthma Lung Cancer Stomach Cancer Throat Cancer Esophageal Cancer Colon Cancer Laryngeal Cancer Bladder Cancer and Other types of cancer.

Documents obtained from the Association of American Railroads indicate that, as early as the 1950's, railroads recognized that exposure to asbestos and diesel fumes could cause cancer. Despite this knowledge, the railroads failed to protect or warn employees.

If you, or any railroad workers you know, have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma, Cancer, COPD or Asthma within the last 15 years, you may have a claim. The fact that you may have smoked cigarettes, or previously settled an asbestosis claim, or have been retired for many years, does not necessarily prevent you from making a claim.
